Today is the day for big giveaways.
My reason for starting to collect Liberty of London Tana Lawn fabric is that I decided that I was going to make a pink hexagon quilt out of all Liberty of London Tana Lawn pink fabric. I have a good start to it with about 500 1" hexagons basted.
Once I started buying Liberty of London Tana Lawn Fabric I could not stop. I found a couple of sources on Etsy and Fabric.com where I could get some good bargains. I also paid full price for some of the fabric that struck my fancy. I am a classics kind of gal. So in the interest of sharing some of my pricing good fortune I am giving away two half yards of Liberty of London Tana Lawn both in a blue color way. They are 52" wide so that gives you more than your average 1/2 yard.
Here they are up close and personal. The names of the fabrics are Bourton Blue/Multi and Mark in Eggshell/Light Blue/Light Green.
I am using Rafflecopter to pick my winners. You can use your email to check in if you prefer not to use Facebook. I will ship internationally.
The giveaway ends next Monday at noon. I will have Rafflecopter pick a winner.

These tana lawns are both gorgeous and I just love the super soft feel of them. I was lucky enough to get a couple of small scraps in a scrap pack and am incorporating them into my EPP quilt of 1 inch hexagons.
ReplyDeleteGreat way to use those scraps. They are going to look great in your quilt.
DeleteI'd say modern traditional, but I'm so new to quilting it's hard to define my label yet. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely modern. Bright and with lots of novelty fabrics. Thanks!

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love using tana lawn; I've used it for a number of clothing projects. I've been collecting five-inch charm squares and I know that they will become a (very soft) quilt, but I haven't decided on a pattern yet!
ReplyDeleteAnd I guess I sew whatever appeals to me. I think my head would explode if I started thinking about what "type" of quilter I am!;)
ReplyDelete(BTW, I've always loved this Mark paisley design. Thank you for sharing them!)
I guess that my aesthetics lean toward the modern bent, though I do have a weakness for simple traditional quilting.
ReplyDeleteso far, I've only used smallish pieces of tana lawn in quilts and in a few simple projects (fancy sachets? yes, please), but I'm looking forward to building up my stash for some larger projects. thanks for the offer!

ReplyDeleteTraditional, though I've made a few more modern quilts for fast baby presents and do see the appeal. Never *made* anything with Tana Lawn... but have some scraps (from a trip once to Purl Soho!) waiting to be made into the bodice on a dress for my toddler, and have a 2-yard piece for a full dress for her.
