Grandmother's Garden Wall Hanging

September was my month to be Queen Bee for Get Your Hex On.  My husband picked out a Grandmother's Garden wall hanging in 30's reproduction fabrics that he wanted me to make for him.  I had four mini charm packs of 30's reproduction fabric from Moda and then supplemented it with an orange print and a yellow solid for the block centers.

I have all but one block back from my fabulous Hive #3 group.

I hope to get started on putting it together when I am at my son's wedding in November.  Hopefully by then I will have my last flower block.  I have all the connecting pieces.   I still need to get my October blocks pieced.  I hope to have them done this weekend.

I also joined another hexie group on Flickr called I Love Lucy.  We are sewing together Lucy Boston blocks.  I am up first so I have to pick out a colorway for my fellow English Paper Piecers.
