One More Completed Top

I spent last Sunday finishing up a black and white floral quilt using my favorite "Fat Quarter Shuffle".  It is going to be a wedding gift for a colleague.

The other quilt top is a donation top made from "Cinnamon Girl" by Robyn Pandolph.  I used "Turning Twenty Again" for this one.

The new executive committee for the Austin Modern Quilt Guild just planned and executed our first meeting as a team last night.  A good time was had by all.  We had a jelly roll drawing with jelly roll strips in QuiltCon colors.  This was to hype up the QuiltCon block challenge.  We also had a pouch swap that was loads of fun.  We did it White Elephant style and a couple of popular pouches got stolen the maximum three times.  Of course we had show and tell. It is really nice to see how many talented quilters we have in our group.

  1. Oh are getting so much done...great quilts.

  2. Sue I was just reading through your blog. Your quilts are fabulous.
