Today is the day for big giveaways.
My reason for starting to collect Liberty of London Tana Lawn fabric is that I decided that I was going to make a pink hexagon quilt out of all Liberty of London Tana Lawn pink fabric. I have a good start to it with about 500 1" hexagons basted.
Once I started buying Liberty of London Tana Lawn Fabric I could not stop. I found a couple of sources on Etsy and Fabric.com where I could get some good bargains. I also paid full price for some of the fabric that struck my fancy. I am a classics kind of gal. So in the interest of sharing some of my pricing good fortune I am giving away two half yards of Liberty of London Tana Lawn both in a blue color way. They are 52" wide so that gives you more than your average 1/2 yard.
Here they are up close and personal. The names of the fabrics are Bourton Blue/Multi and Mark in Eggshell/Light Blue/Light Green.
I am using Rafflecopter to pick my winners. You can use your email to check in if you prefer not to use Facebook. I will ship internationally.
The giveaway ends next Monday at noon. I will have Rafflecopter pick a winner.

Get Your Hex On Round Two
Sign up for the Get Your Hex On Round Two and you will be in the pool to win six sets of six Liberty of London tana lawn hexagons ready to sew. I cut them out using the Paper Pieces 1" finished hexagon template which gives you a nice 3/8" seam allowance
Elita and I are the Get Your Hex On Moderators this time around. We are planning for a six month bee with two blocks per month. June will be the first month of the bee.
Those of you who were not in the bee last time please feel free to check out the Sign-Up sheet below and see if you would like to join us.
There is an option on the sign-up sheet for your bee mates to be Europe only, North American only, or you have no preference. I know postage from Europe to the U.S. and Canada has skyrocketed. This would be a way to keep postage down.
Sign-Up Sheet
Hope you will join us for some more hexie fun.

Liberty of London Giveaway #1
I am on a roll with my Liberty of London tana lawn hexies. I feel in a sharing mood. This week I have twenty 5" squares to give away. These are the various pink florals that I have been using for my pink hexagon quilt.
I purchased my Liberty of London tana lawn from various sources. This week I want to highlight my favorite Liberty of London tana lawn on-line shop.
My go to for Liberty of London fabric is Jones and Vandermeer. You get a quarter yard that is around 11" X 53" for $9.00. They do not have as good a selection as some other on-line shops but you do get more fabric than a standard quarter yard of 42" fabric or a fat quarter and they have a $5.00 flat shipping rate. You can see all their luscious fabric at https://www.jonesandvandermeer.com/categories/Fabric-Shop/Fabrics/By-Brand/Liberty-of-London/.
The giveaway ends next Sunday, March 2. You do not have to be a follower to win but if you are a follower you get one more chance to win with a second entry.

Liberty Hexies
I used my new hexagon die for my Go Baby and made some hexies out of my pink Liberty tana lawn. I used Best Press to starch them up a little first. You can also cut the templates at the same time. I bought some card stock today and did not notice it was gray. Oh well. I guess the color does not matter. So now I have a tidy pile of templates and Liberty tana lawn hexagons ready to baste.
I am thinking I might have to spread the Liberty love. Be on the lookout for a give-away next week sometime.

More Lovely Fabric and an Oops
I pulled out some more of the fabric from my stash. I got this nice stack of Soul Blossoms with some Christmas money.
I got these six fat quarters of Heirloom at my friend's fabric sell off before the holidays. Lovely orange colors.
I also have some London Calling Lawn fabrics. These are the somewhat paisley ones from my stash. Not too sure what I am going to do with them.
I ordered some Aurifil thread from Cotton Bliss and I got this instead.

I picked up some Liberty Tana Lawn in pinks before Christmas for my color wash hexagon quilt. Saw one on Pinterest and loved it. I have the Accuquilt 1" hexie die and I am all ready to cut at some time in the near future.

The owner was gracious and let me keep the charm packs because of the mix up. Great customer service. I will keep buying from that shop.
Then my oops. I forgot to cancel my stash subscription from Pink Castle. At least they are in the neighborhood of the Pantone color of the year.
